Review: Memory Lane by Becky Wade

Remy rescues a man from drowning in the ocean and nurses him back to health at her home on an island in Maine. The man upends her life for a bit, and she wants him up and out as soon as he is able to leave. The man, who’s name is Jeremiah turns out to be from one of Maine’s wealthiest families and a rich race driver himself. The relationship between Remy and Jeremiah grows from friendship to something more as Remy helps him get memories back and helps him connect to his family. Jeremiah struggles to remember the life he had and when he does remember, he wants some answers to some things that happened and Remy helps him with those things as well.
Remy and Jeremiah had good chemistry and some good banter between them. Their romance was built up well and gave room for each character to shine. A well paced story with interesting characters that will hopefully be in the next book.

The One That Got Away With Murder by Trish Lundy

Lauren and her mother moved away from California to start a new life in Pennsylvania, only to find themselves in more danger. Lauren doesn’t care for the man her mother is engaged to, and she likes his daughter even less. At school, Lauren befriends the Crestmont brothers,Robbie and Trevor. The brothers are social pariahs at school because both of their girlfriends died under suspicious circumstances. Lauren is in a relationship with Robbie and soon she starts questioning whether he is innocent, especially after she finds something from the night his ex-girlfriend died. Soon Lauren will look into what happened to the two girls and discover that danger is closer than she thought. This was an entertaining story. The twist was done well and several people who could have been the killer were introduced and it did keep you guessing who was the killer throughout the story. Review: Red String Theory by Lauren Kung Jessen

Rooney is an artist who uses red strings in her exhibits and believes that fate plays a role in her life. A chance encounter with Jack in NYC one night will only cement her belief that what is meant to be will be. Jack is charmed by Rooney and they both enjoy the night going to places that night. Several months later Rooney and Jack have to work together at NASA because she is the selected artist to create a exhibit for them under her alias, Red String Girl. Rooney and Jack have to navigate thier growing feelings for each other as well as work out their different beliefs about fate and free will in life. This is a cute romantic story that is well told and has good characters. Jack and Rooney are well characterized and the romance is well written. It was a little slow in the beginning, but I enjoyed the banter between the couple. The ending was enjoyable and was happy to see a happy ending for all characters! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
