The Hero Of Ages By Brandon Sanderson

Vin and Elend have to fight a power more powerful than the Lord Ruler in the last book of the Mistborn trilogy. The story follows them and the other characters as they try to stop the force Vin accidentally released at the Well of Ascension. Elend has mistborn powers since the events that happened at the well, and he has to deal with ruling a empire. Vin helps Elend with his new powers and with the defense of everyone. In the north, Elend sends another member of their group, Spook, to spy on the rebellion that erupted there. Spook learns a lot about the rebels and fights against them. Elend and Vin go south to find atium, a powerful metal. They have to fight a king and monsters, all while Ruin, the power from the well, finds them. The story has a lot of action and great character moments. I liked that Spook, the youngest from Kelsier’s group, had his moment to shine in the story.Vin and Elend’s character development from the first book progressed well, and the bittersweet ending felt earned and was well written. Very good final book for this series.
