Review: The Night Sister by Jennifer McMahon

A friendship between three girls is torn apart when they discover something grisly in a old tower of an abandoned motel. When something tragic happens to  Amy, Piper and her sister Margot have to deal with the past mystery as well as with how their friend died. The story is split between the three girls and Amy’s mom Rose and her sister Sylvie, who lived at the motel in better times. As the story plays out in both timelines, things eventually come together and mysteries are resolved. I thought some of the middle was kind of slow and the ending was not as strong as I would have liked. ⭐️⭐️.5 content warning: some strong language, mentions of abuse, some violence
