If I’m Found by Terri Blackstock

The second book in the If I’m Found series picks up where the first book left off. Casey leaves Shady Grove after changing her look and she gets new identities. Dylan believes Casey is innocent and is determined to help her and needs to stay on the case even though the two corrupt detectives don’t want him helping anymore. He contacts Casey and tells her he wants to help her and points her towards faith and God. Casey tries to investigate why her father was murdered on her own, finding out that one of the detectives who killed her dad has a mistress in Dallas that he lavished with money and expensive things. She heads to Dallas two try to observe the mistress and has to take a job while there. As with her previous job, Casey stumbles into a situation that compels her to help someone else: a man who is falsely accused of abusing a child at a school. The corrupt detectives are searching for her and end up in Dallas, but Dylan finds her first and helps her out. Casey is determined to save the girl who was not abused by the man at the school, but the girl’s parents and get justice for Ava and Cole. She does have to run away at the end, but Dylan is determined to expose the corruption in the police department and clear her name. There was good faith content in this and I like how Casey is softening to God and Dylan. I look forward to seeing how this story ends. It was a good fast paced story that was tender at times, especially between Dylan and Casey. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5 #christianfiction #fiction #suspense #mystery #books
